Alliance Fights, a Seattle-based Mixed Martial Arts promotions company will return to ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington for their second professional MMA event on Saturday, August 22, 2009. “COUNTERSTRIKE” will feature professional fights matching well-known athletes specializing in jiu-jitsu, kick-boxing, wrestling and more. Appearing in what could be his last local fight before launching onto the national scene is Seattle superstar Mario Miranda (8-0-0, 185lbs). Other athletes scheduled to fight include Gary Padilla (9-4-0, 185lbs), Chris Davis (4-0, 170lbs), John Heath (2-1-0, 170lbs), Josh Henry (7-2-1, 153lbs.), Josh Calvo (160lbs.) making his professional debut, and more.

Tickets for COUNTERSTRIKE are on sale now and are available at ShoWare Center’s Box Office, online at www.ShoWareCenter.com or by phone at 253-856-6999. Prices not including fees range from $70 for “cageside” seats to $25 for general admission seats. Parking is always free and all ages are always welcome at ShoWare Center.
